lessons learned: use a smaller, slower drill to avoid slips and a vice that has rubber grippers. tape just doesn't do it; it tends to melt when the coin gets hot.

i could have buffed & smoothed this one more thoroughly (i rubbed it with the spoon to get it to shine a little) but i kinda dig the rawness of it.
